A New weekly jazz gig in Brighton at THE HARLEQUIN ( 43 Providence Place, Brighton) - Featuring Terry Seabrook on piano, Paul Whitten on bass and Spike Wells on drums + Guests EVERY WEDNESDAY - FREE ADMISSION

The guests will alternate between Simon Haysom on saxophone and other musicians in the intervening weeks.

The Harlequin is a bar at 43 Providence Place which is behind the London Road branch of Woolworths. You might need to look at the map below to be sure of finding it. There is a multi storey car park just across the road and it seems to be free in the evenings.

Terry Seabrook's Cubanapop

Cubana Bop is a six piece Latin Jazz group based in Brighton, UK. The music is all Jazz with a strong Latin Afro-Cuban flavour featuring originals and classic Jazz standards.

The sound is quite different from most other Latin Jazz fusions being highly melodic and harmonic, with an exciting rythmic Latin input. Taking the cue from Latin Jazz masters such as Poncho Sanchez, Tito Puente and Eddie Palmieri, we have worked out our own blend of Latin and Jazz. Click here for information and gigs
